On this episode of MTP; Craig and Rayshawn let out their grievances and vent about Odell Beckham Jr. and where he might end up now that he has hit free agency after being released by the Cleveland Browns, with most reports saying he is likeliest to sign with either the New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, Green Bay Packers or Seattle Seahawks.

Craig goes to task on people on Twitter who have no credibility, claiming to have inside information on reports when they are clearly just making stuff up.

We discuss the report from The Athletic’s Shams Charania, on the rumor that The Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers may be interested in a Ben Simmon-Jaylen Brown swap.

And Finally, we preview the Red Sox potential offseason moves.

Craig D'Alessandro:

On this episode of MTP, we air grievances on Odell Beckham Jr. Where he manned up fake Twitter sources. And please God, don't let Ben Simmons come to the Boston Celtics. This is missing the point, Episode 95. But I guess I'll host the show too nice Mike's in the Bahamas. Dave's working 100 hours a week Bob just had a baby Joe is doing his own thing with you. Right? That's right. That's right. And speaking that welcome in everybody to MTP the you don't normally hear me at this point, or well, that's not true. They normally hear me immediately when they started listening to the show, but now it's me actually here on the show. I'm here for each how you can reach out to your third episode in a row. Welcome back.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Yeah, it's crazy way it went from doing a rotation to now you can't give me out the rotation baby like it's like I'm the sixth man that got high, you can't get rid of me now. I love it.

Craig D'Alessandro:

This is your show at this point. So all so what I'll do after all this done is I'll send you all the payment information that for all the do that for all the bills that are coming due at the end of the week. And you can start doing all that and edit the show too as well. So that's gonna be good, but yeah, read out all the other guys are busy this week. So I just mean right but that's not bad. We're gonna have a good show. Good. Our show with we got the Patriots. We got a lot. You know what? I just want to I just want to get right to it. But before I do, Rayshawn, I do have a question for you. Sir. What is your favorite holiday around the year?

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Oh, this is who has given that I do like Thanksgiving

Craig D'Alessandro:

too. For me, considering we're from New England, my favorite holiday. And maybe not a holiday maybe just an occasion or something like that is whenever a star player becomes a free agent, and then we get the post out those Bill Belichick gifts and that guy at Logan Airport gifts those are my favorite time of year because we're just able to speculate on basically whoever wants to come in. And you know, you know every you know that same guy with dreadlocks at the hurts at the hurts checkout. Just checking out and getting ready B's you know, that's the thought they Samuel this time and then it's Odell Beckham and then it's, you know, Brandon cooks or whoever. But I'm not gonna worry about doing this show Rayshawn because we are officially on the Odell Beckham watch, and it's just really heating up. But I didn't think the report came out earlier today that of course, Odell Beckham, released from the Cleveland Browns, officially, they reworked this contract, so we wouldn't get claimed. So he officially made it through waivers. He's officially free agent. And they said they're probably going to wait a day or two, until they actually see who who he signed to. It feels really I was he traded from the giants to Cleveland, or was that afraid to time out? Rumor?

Rayshawn Buchanan:

No, he was no, no, no, no, we'll go still to sleep. No, he all leave. Oh, sorry. i That's just one of them. So sorry. I'm sorry, miss, if you ever come on the show. Once again, you can send a list and now you're here in Hollywood, you're in Florida. Why not? Have you stayed in Ohio? But no, no, he got traded there. You know, obviously, the relationship went sour there in New York. So today, I chose to part ways with a via trade.

Craig D'Alessandro:

So, you know, that was first time ever actually being a free agent. So I would think that he would actually want to take a couple of days, but things are heating up right now. He listened to all the reports that you've heard earlier. It looks like it's come down to maybe four teams and it seems like it's heading in one direction right now. We'll get to that in just a second. It sounds like you know, Dells narrowed it down to obviously the Patriots. Maybe the saints maybe the Seahawks. Maybe the Packers all would be excellent landing spot to him. Maybe not the saints. I don't think that's a great landing spot for him. But things are heading I hate that this always happens by love as a Patriots fan. It seems once again that it's heading in the direction that Odell Beckham maybe by the time we're done with the show maybe what we're recording the show. It's gonna be a New England patriot.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Yeah, no, I'm listening. I am on the bandwagon. And listen I understand that you may not be the guy that he was in New York and people are like oh well you know he's become a cancer in the locker room via issues when he like issues a bigger you know? Yes. Is he gonna come in Beaver ready muscles? No, we don't need them to be honest and we don't we need another productive body at that wide receiver spot. And listen boys played great you know Agloe moments but you know right now this office is based around the tight ends. You will need A dynamic option on at the barbecue position. And yes, has become super famous when I when she was saying that football Yes, we get that have we been chasing that moment famous Odell fan system? Absolutely. However this Patriot team Niessen whatever ever being objective and subjective another team that think that he will be great all really as Green Bay and it will decay does not want to hear that because obviously he is in he's a fan of the team in the same division as that but I'm me to think of what it could be with DeMonte Adams and although being really the number two and you first start out in Valdez scantling down to the third or fourth position on the depth chart, would it be just phenomenal honestly, and I just think that would be super scary you know, Aaron Rodgers you know, there's talent you know, what that wants to record win season? He has to get better in the playoffs obviously. But yeah, that would be super scary to see that office come together but yeah, I'm gonna you know, we talked about earlier you know, a few pointers a level Azhar Jeff, how, you know, we not erupted from a rep was the guy we were, you know, hearing back and forth the job that to name job, though signing with the pictures, but yeah, it seems like, you know, that people have reached out to him, you know, pitches measures reached out, I think Odell was really, I think Odell is in that chat, also, simple category, on what I mean, is he sold his load by Bill. And that's what I mean. So you're obviously we don't want the productivity that no, just single has literally like three or four catches? Maybe. If that, right. So, you know, we hit we don't, we definitely don't want that. But, you know, I say, I think if you stand to have respect for bills towards the player, I'll still want that discipline, so to speak, then maybe he says, You know what, you know, this team still has enough here, obviously, about what I can do. I just hope he doesn't go somewhere like the Rams or down to Tampa. Or, you know, maybe Windows maybe even Vegas. volgende. That makes sense. I know, a chiefs fan wants to get them obviously, you know, was that thou that would be insane to honestly, you know, to play alongside Tyreke and Kelsey, and so, yeah, especially as you can go, I'm standing for delta, we're on alto del watch. But, you know, until then, we patiently wait, you know, we constantly check our phones for tweets and, you know, group chats to go crazy when whenever that news breaks, but, you know, we're gonna keep it at home for right now get into the Patriot so they go,

Craig D'Alessandro:

Well, before we get them out, we're gonna play or do you think Odell is at this point? I mean, he's just coming up. What two straight shoulder surgeries is coming off the ACL, everything like that, you know, obviously he was prolific when he was on the Giants. He he had a pretty good start when it came to the browns. But since then, he's just not been you know, he when he came in was the prototypical x wide receiver. He was a he was a take the top off the defense and just tuck the ball downstairs and hopefully he gets it. Now it seems like he's kind of regressing like a slot receiver roll man. That's not a dig on him. You can be very productive as a slot receiver. Giuliana Montana for years. Was locker before him Deion branch love the blue log billion examples. Marvin Harrison to what kind of player? Do you think he is still playing?

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Yeah, I think he can't say he's not going to be what he was in New York, but I think was first or second year. Anyway, he had, you know, he still has 70 receptions over 1000 yards. Like, if he does that here. Like we'll take that this moment. His career like he's gonna be they just turned 29. So it's not like he's ancient history. And you remember, we're ready moss guy. 807 Randy Moss was coming off a subpar year at Oakland. You know, and people thought he was done there. And I'm grinding but the injury history wasn't the same. But, you know, he basically felt like he had he had quit on Minnesota. And you know, maybe some fans are like, Oh, Dr. Matt quit on Cleveland. But, you know, I just think there's still a lot left in the tank, just a second wrestle reference from using the first 10 minutes. But, uh, you know, I just think he can still play and I'm excited to see where his revenue goes. But hopefully he's way number 13 offered a red glow white, fuchsia.

Craig D'Alessandro:

I just wonder, I think when this all gets settled, though, the tea leaves are just pointing so so so much towards Foxborough just, it wouldn't surprise me if I see him end up in somewhere like Seattle or something like that. To me, I think Seattle's Best landing spot. But the tea leaves. Everything I'm reading just says, you know, in the last report I just saw right now says that he's probably gonna sleep on it. And we'll probably ever something by the end of the week. I doubt he places week no matter where he ends up. But it seems like it's gonna be the Patriots.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Yeah, I mean, even even when they got to tell you about why right, like, you know, the Raiders will use them and you know, they flew in the room and got like, the next day or two. And obviously, I mean, I thought I was like, oh my god, like, who's gonna have like 10 for 150 you can actually it was playing Pittsburgh, like the next week. So I thought that was gonna happen, but it didn't work out that way. So who knows? Maybe, you know, best

Craig D'Alessandro:

show ever mentioned. So he played in Miami. He played at Miami game I remember that Miami game. He played great. And that was it. That's the plan and that then the report came out on Monday or Tuesday and then we've got by Wednesday. And then he was just kind of gone till Brady you know, pretty well. His wings and flew down to Tampa.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Right. Right, exactly. So, I mean, it's in his words, but hopefully, as he come down to be productive, but, you know, there are still a lot of great things happening with the pitcher. So we'll get into that right now. So all coming off their third straight when they are now that they are approved, and five and four, you know, so just as things are currently constructed. Greg, what do you what are your thoughts about the current state of the Patriots on? Well, you know, there's Sunday's winning statute.

Craig D'Alessandro:

The Patriots right now are pretty much exactly where I thought they would be coming into the season, there was a period of time stretch of time, a very long stretch of time, because that's how time works. That were I thought that this patriots team just was not going to be very good because starting at the beginning of the season, just the offense never clicked, they weren't able to put points on the board. They had some very close wins. You know, Joe said about multiple times the team should have been for one at the time. They were, I don't know one three at the time. But now they're what there are 500 a game over. This is a playoff team right now. I'm not saying they're a good playoff team, but they're a playoff team right now. And this team basically looks until you know the concussions happen to a couple of running backs basically the exact same team. I thought they were going to be in I didn't think Mac Jones was gonna come in like the wall on fire. That being said, he's definitely been the most effective right he's definitely been the most effective rookie quarterback coming in. At this point in the season. Justin field had an incredible fourth quarter on Monday Night Football. But besides that, as far as rookie quarterbacks go to Mac Jones and that's been everybody else he hasn't been the most effective Rookie of course, that's been Ja'Mar Chase for the Bengals. But this is things I didn't expect Mac Jones to come in and light the world on fiery he hasn't done that. And that's not a bad thing. This has been a very decent Patriots game. I did not expect them to win, eat Contempo Super Bowl this year, or even or even make the playoffs. Or maybe this week's getaway outside there will be like aluminum six at some point. But this isn't a bad team. They're very weak at the wide receiver position. And their tight ends have not lived up to the reputation, but their defense is far by far. Gap them in this game, and also their top 10 And Beaubois offense and defense this is a good football team in the AFC in perpetuity. Not a great league. Not a great conference. So the Patriots are going to be in this so I think week 17 They're coming to playoffs right now they're right now they're in the playoffs that the season ended today.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Yeah, me Listen, they basically told me destiny. Yes. See your point? Yes, my dogs has definitely been the best rookie quarterback by far like it's not close. If it wasn't for what some other guys are doing in different teams. He would easily win office of rookie of the year that's just not that's just not debatable but figure out some of the guys that have been performing well so but that's fine I think you know mentions the big guy rather get to the playoffs and just see what happens as opposed to getting those individual awards but yeah, I mean, honestly, I mean they're five before but it's like you know they are a game of there are a couple places for Musa to do even he was 72 right but they should have been like that when you spend the money they spend the offseason not spend that money to be you know, a team was kind of hovering around 500 They made me finish nine and eight like you know bargains right because I stole away that to me that's happening but for me to be top 10 that offers a defense like yeah you shouldn't be winning some games because now you know you're laying Mac Jones you know running off there's more you know you're getting you're getting Harrison Stephenson I evolved what which is awesome you know that's something that me and Joe talked about on a previous show you had you have to get your skill players involved and he also the next step yet getting Smith involved more getting Henry involved more you know even your guy creating a character like to me you know we joke about it we joke about a call it you know Jesse Josh, but it's like to me that's one that's just one played in the carrier could ride in progress or perfection right because he is so have been so strong and would to me would give seven eight yards every time he ran that so you're just missing thing as to why they had to put their vehicle in the offense was was in but you know, but just to they're successful far, I hope and this is not the peak of it. And they continue to roll and you know, we'll talk about that Jason's going to clear this people later on the show, but you know, kind of just want to focus on that, Joseph, Mr. We've been speaking about him but you know, are you okay with him being? What he's been the last few weeks even more of a game manager, or do you want to get back to the status he was between weeks one to five?

Craig D'Alessandro:

I think he's working with the talent he has around him right now. I don't necessarily feel like I've expressed this multiple times. I don't feel like the wide receiver group that he has in front of him right now is necessarily what they would call Oh, I don't know. Good. Nelson. Aguilar has been to me a huge disappointment. Kendrick Warren has been fine. I'm out on Nikhil Harry this point. Done. Oh, see you later. Not happening with him. It's just not gonna happen. I love him. I think he's, I think he's going to succeed wherever he ends up. It's not on the seam though. He did. I don't know. It's just it's not out he just can't get open. He's got the hands. He can't get separated for whiners he can't get separated from quarterbacks. It's just not happening and then Jacoby Meyers is just a fine slot receiver he be a number three receiver on any team right now but he's number one on this team. John Smith and Hunter Henry has been fine last couple of weeks John Smith, colossal disappointment to this point. And we don't even know if he's gonna play this week because he injured himself again. And now Damien Harrison, Rashad Simonson both in the concussion protocol. So I don't know what's gonna happen there. They had a bunch of running backs in July last couple of days and try them out. So we're gonna see what's happened there. David Harris has been beat up this season. He's been beat up he's gotten injured so many times he's always come back but he's been beat up so many times. And so I think he's a top 10 rusher in the league. Maybe the higher I know coming last week he had like six 700 yards already on the season Berbers. rimane streaming Stevenson, my man that came he had last Sunday. What a game that is like, it's like, I don't like to make comparison that much. But if you had muted the TV, and you had told me that's the Garrett one, he's back and we're like, yeah, I believe it. That looks he ran. Exactly likely. Gerb want runs?

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Yep. fact that that is yeah, that is spot on. And that's literally that's all Yep. I

Craig D'Alessandro:

like it. I was like a cornerstone of this offense for like, five, six years just to get one. You know, getting cheap touchdowns but having strong steady runs.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Right, exactly. And that is so sweet. I was actually pissed that first drive, but he just basically do whatever he wanted. And I gave her such and I'm like, no, like, let him finish that shut off. Like what are we doing like this man? Let y'all down the field reward him like he's the reason why I got to this point. Let him score. And I say I'm a Harris guy. But you gotta remember this is the most East carrier relations Alabama, right? So even then, like they had a multitude of back so you know, he's used to being an apple tool system but because he's the guy that's being featured. I think that's kind of that's that's what's led to those injuries. I'm not comfortable with it. We're in a boat again. Somebody snaps Now listen, has he turned around was like getting my fucking mission that I was going to drop him off at Logan Airport. Absolutely, he is he's made me a believer. He has turned things around for sure. But it's still an eliminated role. Like I don't want him being the guy that's getting 1520 to 25 touches right I think we're in trouble if that's the case, so I don't know the name they've brought in so far for practices week but you know, I know they had their own Whoa, just Jags there's just yeah yeah so just something guy right so I just like to me you know Okay, where's JJ Taylor bringing lamping some more tools that's another guy he's got God was supposed to do a little super I know he has Dr. Lewis written all over him. Someone that can be in the return game someone that can you know be there's pros like type guy like you have to hit it you have to get hit mistakes and see what he can do he has an opportunity to do so so no build let it happen right you don't need to run it. Run a mess. Get those people in linebackers in space and just see it see what he does but yeah, I mean listen, they used to say like they normally been very impressive overall I said we kind of touched on their opponent asked for Sunday coming up in a physically rounds. You know, this weekend we have a chance to win fourth in a row so you know what has to happen for you for to see what basically what I just only went off Sunday.

Craig D'Alessandro:

I think nature already took care out this weekend that their biggest asset is going to be pretty much on the sidelines for potentially this game. Nick Chubb is their best weapon they have at this point, it's their best thing go and hunt Smite, I think hunts on the IR so it seems like everything is one the Patriots way again, like it normally does, unfortunately, unfortunately for the other, you know, 14 teams in the American Football Conference. But I'm going to circle back for one second. Do you mind if I do that? I know I'm breaking out. I want to complete the I want to complete the triangle. These we already mentioned two strong Alabama players. And Mac Jones and Damien Harris. Christian Barmore. Yes, freak. Yeah. Freak athlete. And I am so happy that he slipped through a second round, you know, break. You know, one of the big reports coming out of the draft was Greg Bernard's. You know, there was something happening with Christian Barmore. So he slipped out of the first round and then the second happy that happened, whatever it was, I hope he did does it again. Yes, this that. i We have been looking on this New England Patriots team for years to try and find somebody to replace that and you know, that disruptive Vince Wilfork kind of offense? that, that force on the defensive line. Like they found it, they found it and they've a hell of a passer lay by elbow pass rush on the seam between Christian Barmore and Matt Judon. On and out. Jamie Collins is back again. Disrupting plays making interceptions less than a half a second after it's thrown.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Oh my god like oh, I said shame on me. I'm glad you I'm glad you're talking back. Let's say that that pig Oh my god. That that picture jet Listen man. i We cloud him call to coming back before but he's ex girlfriend. There's one of you coming back? Maybe I miss you. Well, David, we miss you, Tim Jamie, like you just don't play when your own you're in the right mindset. So, you know, we want to keep seeing you rub your belly Jamie COVID that means it should make you successful plays. We want to see Judon know what it is? Honestly, like, I don't know what that dad says. But I want to see him keep doing it like so.

Craig D'Alessandro:

I figured that. I see that's I mean that's him just look at the blood of his arms. Yeah.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Yeah, yeah. Don't admit you say the guy to red with the red sleeves. But that's the gospel. Yeah, don't Yeah, yeah, Baltimore has been a godsend. You know, just like your day pick defensively. I know. Last couple years, you know to get Dunker has been really good. You know, she's has something

Craig D'Alessandro:

we should on Hightower for a while, but he played really good on Sunday, too. Yeah,

Rayshawn Buchanan:

finally, finally. So don't hate him. It was deserved. Like it was deserving that we got on him. And you know, I said we made it sound like it was true. Like it was he has not played well. But he looked lost and LA and, you know, I you know, but hopefully he he left that garbage bag in LA and he said, Okay, I'm ready to show up. So and I'm pretty sure he got embarrassed on tape. I know he I know. Because like I said once again and Bill was going to Tom on it just the basis, you know for sure. He was going to hide towel rack this week. Like okay, so probo three time champ. Ah, listen, this is what this is what the time channels look like. So I'm no I know. He was pushing his buttons all week. So I'm glad he responded and, you know, get the state but also JC Jackson. Yes. Yeah. Two picks because I was hot. When I started doing more began. I knew it was coming. I thought I was like, He's going to, he's gonna He's gonna get when he gets back into a run that shit battle. He didn't get Cincinnati a few years ago. That's what I thought was gonna happen. But thank God, it was kind of me damn. Like, I just hated it was predetermined, right? Like matches, like, Okay, I'm a total digital regardless. And you know, you're being a smart player that he is having a high IQ. He was okay, I'm just gonna run the route. And I'm not going to get you know, I'm not going to get to turn off this rubber they're trying to do what is natural rubber they've tried to do. I'm going to run the route. You're Toby. And then you know, at the point of attack, I'm just gonna, I'm gonna break on it. And that's exactly what he did. And, you know, it was a beautiful, beautiful played, but yeah, JC Jackson, I think we're now up to 22 picks in this first 50 games, and he's already 10th all the time. And oh, my God, are these 1000 Something Samuel now so I'm gonna constantly have more than that. But he just wanted to I just didn't know. But I said, Wow, I was like this. That's this guy. Ah, I mean, they gave him they may have to franchise him. Oh, they

Craig D'Alessandro:

have no choice. You know,

Rayshawn Buchanan:

I mean, but he's now I'll just actually give him the money. Don't don't have a repeat offense of what you did with Stephon Gilmore.

Craig D'Alessandro:

On Alabama talk today on the old New England Patriots team. Hmm.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Well, I mean, you know, that's the pipeline, right? That you know, this, like, why like, we would basically be dragged element players like so. John mentioned used to be next, you're telling you, I'm here to hear. I'm telling y'all. John mentioned a third. He's a wide receiver. Mac Jones had phenomenal chemistry with him. I'm telling y'all. If we have a fresh shot pack, and I get it, John, man, she's probably gonna be a first rounder. He's telling the watershed wants to take the brother special. I listened to Mac needs those guys to actually get the guys into the catch. He's going to catch them there. But he could use Mac Minis guys that could turn a five yard slack and go and take it to the house. Now obviously it's the NFL you're not gonna do it every time but I'm telling y'all shot feci the third is that guy on he should be the next guy in the pipeline that comes only when I know they got some other guys on there defensively that were played really well but John mentioned he is the guy that would play well but this is really wishful thinking did I don't think he's gonna fall to us. We'll probably get that guy I'll have him state which is Chris.

Craig D'Alessandro:

Chris all love. So before we start, before we start to break down the Cleveland game, which I got to be on interview if things continue the way they're going Nick Chubb doesn't play. Odell has gone officially. You know, Jarvis Landry's? Jarvis Landry is good, but he's not a you know, not, not a not a kilt, not Achillea kind of player. But I have to make us I have to make a special segment because I have not seen I've watched a lot of football on my day. Rayshawn watch a lot of football. And I've seen some bad football my day. But I have not seen a player. Play as bad again One team, as Sam Donald did, and I'll say that with an asterisks. There are two quarterbacks that come to mind that have played. So this poor against the New England Patriots that they just stick out in my memory. Number one is Sam Donald. Number two is Andrew Luck. They were so bad against the Patriots and it's just so entertaining to watch because they it's just so fun to watch your defenses destroy the psyche of a quarterback. They just seemed when Sam Donald ventually that a league in like two years with Patrick mahomes

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Here we go, and you know, we're not going to go overboard in that

Craig D'Alessandro:

slide, you're gonna say, it's gonna be because of everything that the Patriots were done to him. He they destroyed him every single time they faced him in New York with the jets and now they did it again. In Jax and Carolina. It's just embarrassing that they've one team has destroyed this man so bad.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

What was wild though? I mean, it's uh, yeah. Obviously. He was still seeing ghosts. Listen to him. Yes, that's not debatable. He actually had really just started to see the Starcraft phenomena start losing his wallet. He actually had a disease. I was like, oh, okay, maybe it'll change your scenery. And it was working. And now they want to fall winter for the last, you know, five games. So, you know, things change. And, you know, they got some pieces there. We know. I mean, I know McAfee now hurt them. But, you know, DJ more than metallic. Yo, Robbie Anderson, to me is a really good receiver. But Robbie Edison hasn't done much for me all year. So he hasn't been a number two today really needed to be successful. So yeah, I mean, they've been hit by injuries. But good. Sam don't all know. Man. I bet some teachers have the number, right. Like, for Tom Brady. It was Denver. Denver was a house of horrors for Tom Brady. His whole career ready to see the postseason? Like, you know, I mean, obviously, he's so good guys. He's beat them before but Denver was always outdoors. Right? You know, same thing with Mark Sanchez. We show Mark Sanchez struggling this was to yesterday got us to the playoffs a couple of times. But for once, I should say but Yeah, Mark Sanchez has doors gave him his career. I guess those are on Thanksgiving night. Albeit so that that was while so but yeah, I know that that was that's, you know, a good thing to bring up man sent on a once again, I do think he can have you can still salvage some type of a career just as long as he lost to the Patriots. And it's you know, that that to me is just awful, that he's even he just shrinks the size so much against that team. I mean, that that, that that first person Jesse Jackson was like, bro, like, What was you? What was you even? What was you thinking? Like? It was some nextgen stat about how, you know when you're that close to the end zone like no one's never do or never add? No one's never not had a conclusion that even make sense of that came almost directly. He was on for six or two picks in that area. I said, Wow. Like that's sistemi keep it a staggered says, Oh, no. He's the only person that's ever completed it past enter like that. Well, I threw it threw two interceptions, and went back to the house. I said, Wow, I said that, to me. It was almost a gifting gifting the wills in the game. When you call him to be just started, they might have had a bit of chairs had booj walk started. Like that's, that's just where we are.

Craig D'Alessandro:

That's gonna have to be this for now. Because then, you know, after that game, I guess after that smack in the gap in the Patriots events. separated shoulder is going to be out for a couple of weeks. It'll be PJ Walker for a couple of weeks. And maybe that puts Carolina back. No,

Rayshawn Buchanan:

I don't think it's a shoulder. Right? I don't I think it's what you just alluded to right? Is yo, well, your confidence ain't there until this conference was shaking on Sunday. They basically give me him a reset. Like you you cannot say you cannot say yeah, you cannot say to the public. Oh, man, you know, we got to give them a recess. They can't say that. They can't say that. I don't think it's a sort of one and grant. This Listen, this is week nine. No one's completely healthy, but let's let's just be real. No, something that anyone you know, got a little neck of knee, hamstring, whatever, all that but I get that well, yeah, it was just to me just somebody said it'll come back in a few weeks and they'll go see what to jaywalkers and get once that to me that's really macros guy anyways, I know that Jennifer Sandra but PJ weren't really macros guy. I think he coached him in college like so he knows PJ won the game and which is why pitches Walker is actually in the NFL is because of that Matt rule so yeah, that's that's what's going on with that in my opinion anyways, so you know what, what's the best let's dive into this game for weekend so let's say you're feeling brows come into town. My god we already said at the beginning of the show. No one has won three in a row looking for a fourth in a row. So you know any keys to the game Crager besides the running game for Norwich to witness all Sunday,

Craig D'Alessandro:

I don't I don't really think the Patriots need to really do anything different than I've been doing. I don't think this isn't necessarily good Cleveland team a pretty good last couple of years. I just think that you know, Baker Mayfield it's been two consistent when he's been actually on the field, I don't feel like they have the offensive weapons right now. And especially if they're done with Nick Chubb. Who's gonna be out next week, who's gonna be out potentially this week with the COVID issue? I just don't see Cleveland being really in it, even though you know that those usually come back to haunt me. It's usually close gamer clipping wins. But I just I don't see it for Cleveland this week. And I don't think necessarily that I don't think that New England's gonna come in to Foxborough on Sunday in Cleveland to like come in knowing what's gonna blow him out. I don't think they have I don't think Patriots have that kind of offense right now. But I don't I just don't see. I just don't see how this I just don't see how the Browns can win. I just don't see I think in terms of matchups, patriots. This is a checkmark for the Patriots. Yeah, I

Rayshawn Buchanan:

mean, lose should win the game. Also like 27 to 20 I think that's a fair. Also fair score on either side. I just think they'll do enough to pull away in the end. Both run defenses have gotten better claims render all year run robots, but one has gotten better with the run. So they Cleveland's gonna have to throw it and as Baker Mayfield stolen their 4550 times, we got a real shot to take a couple back. It's almost like fizzle. You know, when you know more for a commercial. You're playing the field as a problem. Now knows, he may forever do it. Now the obj is gone. He just might. But you know, I want to see if he reverts back to where he was last season, when he played really well and you know, all the way to, you know, the division around the playoffs. So we'll see. But either we got the Patriots winning and so I'm looking forward to that matchup on Sunday. Also, let's I want to talk something from the Boston Celtics. They won't be crazy long thing because I don't want to talk about them forever. Although the red is big news, Emily taking the stairs and that overcame for myself just wasn't one of these parody accounts.

Craig D'Alessandro:

Oh, can we do it? Can we do a quick sidebar on this? Yes, we started off the show talking with Odell Beckham Jr. Potentially, the Patriots? It seems like now, everyone in their grandmother has a source now in the NFL like they know. Not you, not Ian Rapoport, not Jeff Howe, not Adam Schefter. You know, Johnny Jr. with seven followers on Twitter? No, oh, I have a source that's telling me pay. You know, he's already he's not coming in Logan, don't look for the login. He's doing it to the private airport down in Providence or something like that. It's just that everyone think this is coming? See, this is coming from a guy who has actually broken one story in his life. I broke the of course, I think credit. Of course, I didn't get credit for it. The look terrible and come back to the patriots like 2012 or 13 or something like that. years ago. I just, I heard it from somebody who told me something, they have to tell me something that turns out I was right. Total shot in the dark. I didn't really have a legitimate source for it. I have a little bit of insider information that I just put out there like maybe I'll be back. Don't be surprised that turns out he did. So I got lucky. But it seems like everyone's be like No, I know. I know. He's coming. It's already been decided. They're just delaying this whole thing. And the best thing about it is there's no consequences for that, let's say and he doesn't sign with the Patriots even though I think he's going to let's say he signs with the Seahawks. Well, you know, things just changed at the end of the minute my sources were right the entire time. You can believe me? It's bullshit, dude. Yeah.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Sources trust me, bro. No, but that that that happened? Oh, gosh. When ah, is this a good segue into basketball but I remember going to him. We came in 2017 Right.

Craig D'Alessandro:

It just happened. It just happened. Almost Chanel, right? Oh, my gosh, I'm motional on Twitter.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

I bagged her. No. Okay.

Craig D'Alessandro:

He's one of these guys is like, trust me, bro. I know. It's

Rayshawn Buchanan:

yeah, that's that's that's Josh. That's

Craig D'Alessandro:

all they do is read tea leaves and be like, oh, yeah, every arrow points to let's just say, oh, let's just say for instance, Odell sides of the Patriots every arrow point to Odell signing with the Patriots. Like, I knew. I know it. Yeah, I mean,

Rayshawn Buchanan:

it's comedy. But yeah, that's ridiculous. But no, like, I would say I would go to a website here in 2017. And you know, these players now especially in the NBA want to do this. Your players shoot you in the morning, right? Different notes, say, Oh, I was here for six years. And you know, I love the city. I love the fans. And you know, how can I ever pay you all that? All that bullshit? So Chris Hayes goes to ESPN says you know, hey, you know going ahead with plans to sign a four year deal with 128 goes to Boston to the Boston Celtics. So because going hey, we're seams and people didn't break it first. They were trying to discredit Chris Hayes like oh, no, we just don't talk about LA. And I'm like no like you just had a chance to go speak to jazz ownership to say he was gonna go sign but Chris Hayes we was talking about but he's trying to describe it try to describe it and it happens way too often in professional sports. And I say that's why To me that, you know, Joe smoke and get on Twitter and just act like they are in tune like that, and it's comedy, but, you know, let's get into let's get

Craig D'Alessandro:

your word out for that. Let's get to the Celtics MLB is word work world's gonna hate this.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Yeah. Yeah so look so Shan Shan Shan who's you know who's the other needs the whoo job. You know, the the the wars that's not on ESPN are basically you know, put out there put them out there that the soldiers are looking to trade for sevens in any deal. That's including Simmons out there bring in a you know as to be sending around till about you know, we I went on a rant last week talking about how it's time to break it up. You know, we gave credit to decagon GK was a year ahead of this with us. I said and I still stand by what I said up behind them starting last year. But you know, they have shown that even in this early season and makes me think that they should still be together. Now. Jaylen Brown is hurt again. He's out for another couple of weeks. So that part's crazy. But yeah, if I could see you, I'll just give you my thoughts on it. Like when I saw that I might, if he can't mentally handle Philadelphia. I don't know how it was gonna handle Boston. Because this is the same guy that had a one point in a playoff game. I think it was in game four here in Boston during the total team semi finals. You you can't No play to Philadelphia when you're on your head consistently. You're not going to do much here. Now on paper I want and I want people to understand, as you listen to this, and you're like, Oh my God, he's insane. It's all paper. It makes sense to make this move. It does. It does. I hate to say that. You're actually I like Jaylen Brown. I do. But all paper it makes sense to make this move. Ben has a better facilitator. benders a better defender photos to visit alone. Once again gala scores better dog that's not debatable. But they needed but any defense. They need a guy that can move the ball. And if you could tend to get shoes around someone like sevens and Tatum. Let let alpha be a secondary playmaker. Now, you made me look so I don't think this happened. I think Brad Stevens wants to go home to assembly you know, you know, wait, it's a weekly.

Craig D'Alessandro:

Yeah, we really

Rayshawn Buchanan:

got super duck. Well, I'm saying he wants to go into his family, you know, to have his love me to Kansas wife. So I don't think he makes this move. But if he does, it's not a matter of he hates Jaylen Brown and Jaylen Brown was the worst guy on earth. He loves a little brown. They help they they help bring Jaylen Brown in. However, this team does need to shake up and hopefully they can attach Mark slaughter deal if that's the case. So Craig, what are your thoughts about that?

Craig D'Alessandro:

Before I ask that, can I ask you please I am not a basketball savant as you are what is the issues going on with Ben Simmons in Philadelphia?

Rayshawn Buchanan:

I think that you know, it was stuff going on before this playoffs but basically the final straw was when they it was game seven against Atlanta. And basically was I mean two feet from the basket JC like literally just had to lay it up dunk it everyone gave probably over Phil is going on to the finals maybe even finals right he gets there and say you're right he passes it he got fouled when he passed it was like what are you doing like all you got to do a store the game's over like we were we're gonna when he messes the free tacos and in a letter and the winning the game and goes on to the top of funnel so and then Doc Rivers didn't help it after the game gurus comes like you know I just basically I was wrong type thing like he just he just basically throw on the bus you know you know draw and draw a bead or no punches or draw a bead without his rack and now they're kind of trying to save face now but yeah, I just think it's a lot of stuff that's going on and I don't I think it goes back for Brett brown days to where you know there just wasn't listening to the bird running to Brian Kelly how to go about tuning out Brad Stevens I think is a multiple day like I'm not locked into Philly like I know some people are fans of that team but I haven't heard so much and I'm so what the what the issue was but I just think that he's been so honest, we caught a result is all white. So when you have someone who's trying to hold him accountable to be a better player, that's why they're just going on and that's why I think the issues I've had when it was self fulfilling.

Craig D'Alessandro:

It just seems like to me that based on everything that's come out that I've heard of laughs Oh god, how long has the process been since 2016 17? Something like that. It seems like everybody that's that's come out of the process has been just ended up being soft as dogshit whether it's Markel faults or Ben Simmons, or Joel and B, or the guy that ended up going to Brooklyn or New York and the Knicks or something like that. This just seems like every player that they brought in during love process to make Philadelphia to make the Philadelphia 70 Sixers the next team in basketball ends up being this you know, weak ass bitches. Yeah, yeah,

Rayshawn Buchanan:

pretty much. But what was wild? So actually, it even goes back for a minute or so because then B was drafted in 2014. Right. Okay,

Craig D'Alessandro:

so the, also the mammography even more so.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

So you know, but But I listened at it. And once again, hindsight, as we all know, was always 2020 at the time these moves are made. So in three years time, they've drafted a bead joola aquifer from Duke, the bell Semmens or a paper Ulay Hey, we're back. Can you get your draft those two guys, you should be on your way. Even if they don't stay there. You want to use them as a piece to get them on storage. They're fine. You're on your way. Then the next year they flip they photo and I put in quotations that they they freeze Boston by getting into more picky trade for the third. And you give false false was a problem come out of Washington. I wanted Mako folks to come to Boston badly. I was like go to him to backup it at saga that they will trade it. I want him to backup it. And then if it gets a little older, and you want to move from all over him, you got folks chain around them for the future. This is a great deal. Watch. That way, then they have the number eight pick the next year. Like I said that pig went to Brooklyn, and that respect. The referee good actually became Don Sexton. He's now getting 20 points. He says the Cleveland and they have it ever went down and fell it was a guy that was gonna get you 20 points and it says three rebounds. You had that night every night. Now he's gonna do it for Cleveland. And now y'all don't know who your point guard is because he's taking a mental health break. Like it's unbelievable. It's like, and I shouldn't allow this but it's just fine. It's unbelievable. How they've had a lot of great chapters they have it that's not debatable. All it wants to get on paper. But it's amazing. Like I mean Matisse typo is a problem. And he still did they still look they stole it from us. Like we basically tried to cost the average for him now to this day. I mean granted we want we all want to caution that was here. I thought he was gonna be lifestyle off off the bench but five was everything this team needed and more and they basically gave away for free but yeah, I don't know, Doc Rivers is old school. He's not going to cater, like how some of these New Age talks is going to be like No, it's okay. You know, the wage support doc was like fuck that I'm trying to win games. And matter of fact, you gave up on the walkie right now in the third quarter light. They've been the bowls they've been in they've had a really good year so far. I mean in Philadelphia so they don't play hard with it without mysimon so But needless to say, we'll wrap it on this and go to the Red Sox but I do think that deal ends up happening.

Craig D'Alessandro:

I really I do. I do because with Jaylen brown i

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Big yeah because I to me I think they had to sit there and assess like okay does can this team college destruct it get to the promised land them talks at a conference finals they've made may previous rounds but it hasn't happened and I told someone yesterday I was I was speaking to I still remember what days guy so I was three Paul and made a few all starts here by then. And so I'll walk him into all star teams they weren't there so he the next guy's right and they lose to the nets and a no to win if I'm as follows that I think Detroit's or no they lost him to Jersey again next year and the second round he lost New Jersey and oh three again couldn't desert and going to the finals and lost to San Antonio cents but guineas comes in that summer basically says hey you know we're training install Welcome to the Dallas Mavericks it file said this team astral infrastructure has gone as far as I can go. So I wonder fishers repeating ourselves with you know with rash demons and maybe say hey, you know Danny Burgum to all stars and all those guys into winning things on their own. Maybe even the same thing here. Yes. In theory of course. If you use only give up smart nice Smith, Lankford retrocession like somebody's dog, of course. Because listen sevens Brown and Tatum. What? Yes, yes. Listen that injected into my veins, they probably go to the File dog. That's that's not hard to fathom. But Daryl Morey would get a pitch for your pitch for down to Philly. And that's probably appropriate to say so you guys need that but he ever gets to that site PC which is based out of Philly you know, it would get chased out all the Broad Street which is one of the main streets that people get chased out of Rush Street items you know a lot of packs out of the statue center down there what is obstruction in the mall, but whatever is called now a call center whatever it's called. That's how I was trying to get old. A home here we can change it there if you change mysimon sore, just Marcus smart. No, no way. No way. So if their mortgage does that, I mean, that'd be great. Yeah. The one of the biggest Frances of all time, I'll take the monologue gotta go. So you got to go immediately.

Craig D'Alessandro:

I don't think it's not unprecedented in the NBA, that you have this team, a collective superstars. I'm not gonna say superstars but you have a team of stars are very good players. They break them apart. The team suddenly gets better, because there was a lot of talent on this Boston Celtics team. I just think that they're so young and together that they're I don't know I just never felt I just never felt that Jaylen brown Jason tam connection like I showed off that's just me.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

No it's not just you and I think people are starting to realize that more and more which is why people are the frustration is growing by the second it's not just for them to lessen the frustration is further roof and then some when market smartlight fans are just fucking done like they they're done. Like my girlfriend and you might not even want to be Leo stern or Bill stern cannot fucking stand Marcus more like Vika slash Marcus Lawrence tires on the way to the game he would like you to like he thinks Marcus was the worst fucking basketball player of like all time that's it that's how you know Dan once again just from IP step I'm not saying we just off off the court is on the court. His IQ is just not where they should be. And you know, once again when you're not winning that stuff gets that gets highlighted. And you know, so you know, Marcus wants to get better. It's a shame that a 35 year old is your best player right now. Hope has been phenomenal.

Craig D'Alessandro:

Jasmine as a 25 year old al Horford back

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Well, yeah, pretty much you know, so what I knew he'd come back and play him so he's just decent stable. He's a stabilizing force. Like it's funny for a guy that's quiet he was built the player he was built the player I just I didn't see I'll be finishing the career I do I think that he's someone I think he loves it here. Yeah, he does. He does he does family loves in here clearly. His sister

Craig D'Alessandro:

said as much and said as much I don't think there's any reason why you want to wait.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Yeah, so that's the thing like he shouldn't be a bass player right now. So once again I'm glad he's back easier balling but you know, let's know but it's Thomas of weissflog Bob Williams was great you know Greg Williams had a nice start to the season so yeah, they're awesome things are still you know wonderful to talk about what they've seen but just know that guy bulls gave Brooklyn man I said it to you on the channel you can't lose that type of game but but even now with the Dallas game right Can we ever been on sustained you you fall Luca Don church where you had a chance to get the ball back and then he comes back and gets the three to win the game it's just like, you know, that's what stuff like That's why people don't market smart right? And you still have people to open to defend him and I get it because you know and I'll see what you think about this next statement I'm about to make you know Walker smart should have been not destined for joy. And what I mean by that you know that dirt dog mentality right though you know the guy that's quote unquote an underdog the guy you don't think is gonna do remember? Yeah, well Marco Marco smart guy here it was kind of like well, you know, he's replacing you know, this guy and you know, is he gonna do this and go driving and shooting numbers was a great just like how, you know, I will say 160 And then what happened after that laser show? Right? Like he had a rocky start then he did he call five and obviously, you know, the second year he wins MVP meaning of no just a rejoinder but you know, they both have markers tested their career, but just always that hustle that grit that grind like they were very similar in how they played essentially which basically ended his career surely meaning for joy because of how hard he played on a regular basis so forgive Manny Machado, for that bullshit we have a whole nother podcast on the day but yeah, I don't know Well, I said this team has lots of work on I know he said we're gonna water for capitalism is like bro finding a fucking Captain lounge it was Captain Phillips the smaller like you that's not the specific concern bro. Like yeah, I need a lot more to worry about what a fucking captain is that has nothing to do with not playing defense when it matters not passing the ball like this. So there's so many other things I need to get better with the seam that has nothing to do with happens and who's leading here? Oh, so it's all about this team. So who cares man just just want some fucking games. And I say I'm now an employee at TD Garden. So now I get to see this bullshit up close. Yeah, so I get to see this bullshit upload so I'm just like I'm not happy about that at all. I'll be eligible for this on Tuesday night so I'll be there I shall be there for the rest of the week but it's just like oh my god. I can just see this MasterCard a regular basis long I'm not happy about that but you know the checks look nice.

Craig D'Alessandro:

So when you compare Marcus march like doesn't three or something like that? I love you but I couldn't agree more and Marcus Mar Amin does modria is one of the one of those guys that just wanted to be out there no matter what he was competing at an MVP level all times. It was just yeah dirt dog stuff like that. I never see any of that from Marcus smart man. He's

Rayshawn Buchanan:

someone me someone that plays hard but I'm not necessarily I'm not I'm not a direct comparison but something Yeah, no, he was my he listened he wants it because But I feel like but joy almost always wanted longer smile wants us to have badly but he wants us so badly that he can't see the forest from the trees it's like bro you've got to know how to remove yourself from a situation and the other guy's dominant and just understand your role know your role and what aren't we literally know your co workers that shut your mouth literally because you talk to the media about what Tim Brown ain't doing. No sir. What's the game they're not found somebody with a chance to win the game? They're not doing that. What's it you got? You have to use so know your role markers. No, no, no. It's keeping my close bro whatever you want to address in a locker room cool do that. You want to be that guy you want to be the nothing much that locker room cool brother. Like do do that shit in there. Cool. Don't cut off come on to the podium. Like you trademark Brady. That's basically how we act and he did his trademark. You're not there, bro. And we won. We wouldn't bitch about markets because we haven't won. That's why we go Hamlin can if he went on he we get my gym my ring. He gets everything J Mark Regas just told us a version where we won with him. We were to complain about they have the stuff he does, because we want but that's just how I see it. But I say that's enough on on the subs as well. So before I get him, I get that. Let's close this out with some wrestlers top so my guy my favorite wrestlers player, currently, JD just fingers Martinez, you know, opt in for his final year of a five year $110 million deal decided back in 2018. So you know it, dude. And this is this final season in the Russell's uniform.

Craig D'Alessandro:

I bought him somebody last season, I did not think he would pick up his option. Last year. I felt like based on everything that we saw from him. Last year, this would be the season that he is when they when Scott Boris built his contract for the Red Sox. He built it as a five year deal. But the last three years were option deals. So last three years, he's had options to opt out of his deal. So he, he didn't do it the first time. He wasn't gonna do it the last time because they suck last year during the COVID year. And this year, he had a phenomenal year, he had a great year, if 50 doubles, he had 28 home runs. He had about 300 or over that. I thought yeah, he's gonna opt out. He got more than $18 million on the market. But no, he's gonna be back. He'll be your designated enter. Once again, that's a good thing. The Red Sox would have really liked to have him opt out because they really would have liked to have had that cap space. But that's nitpicking. But I'm happy he's back. He's a good offensive player. He's not that great in the field, as we've seen his five seasons here. But he does need to be like he just needs to supply an offensive this team and it's gonna keep doing that next year. So I'm happy he's back.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

So So So what about CalHFA Walton? Like, does this need to come back on? Are we trusting our first base ship over to Bobby Dulbecco to your guy just to cast this down in a minute.

Craig D'Alessandro:

See, this is where I'm happy. I'm not in high bloom shoes right now. Because first base for me, is a real quagmire. Do I want Kyle Schwarber back. I thought he was really good. I thought he was a really good red sock. I thought he was having a career. Career year, Washington. And he what I welcome back. Absolutely. But I have a lot of questions. Not just about first base or the Red Sox, but about the infield, because I don't know what's happening. They need to find somebody to play second base full time that was supposed to be Kiki Fernandez. He's now a full time centerfielder he said so on Instagram. They don't have a second baseman. There's a lot of rumors right now that they might go for Carlos Correia and they don't know what and they will know where rafail Devon's gonna end up either Rafael Devers still abroad, but he's only 24 years old, he's still going row. So there's a lot of rumors that he may end up at first base. And first of all, I'm blue needs to do whatever he can do this offseason to try and lock divers up because you can not allow him to get to free agency in two to three years you can not let that happen. But this effect this infield right now is really in flux the Red Sox and I don't know who's going to be their first baseman this next offseason, Bobby doll back did not have an exceptional year at first base by any means. But he hit 20 Something homeruns he barreled the ball a lot and that's very valuable. But then you have Tristan cassis too is probably going to hit 4045 home runs in Major League ballparks this in when he finally gets up. So and then you add in that Kyle Schwarber as well. He has one position at this point via the outfield is taken. It's going to be it's going to be for do go Hernandez and Renfro again next year.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Also Also if you take reference back

Craig D'Alessandro:

to do you don't know he sells arbitration years left. Gotcha. Okay, people that's like people are stunned when I tell him that but like, yeah,

Rayshawn Buchanan:

yeah, come I know. He's been he's been around While I'm like I know if I miss

Craig D'Alessandro:

yeah it's so weird you know they pick them up last year he still got an arbitration here so they'll get a raise this year but he won't be he's it'll be right back and he'll be right back in right field the Red Sox next season huh okay it's three now the biggest problem right now look into is the right side of the infield it's just that it's not really a problem it's who's gonna play there? Because right now it's Barbie doll back so do I want house rubber back? Yes. Do I think he's going to be back? No, I just don't think he fits into plans right now.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Yeah, but oh no, it's to me he like he was such a like this wasn't a dummy cambridgeside No, like you saw him play them was like this guy is Boston is this guy. He just fits he fits here. He fit like a glove like Mullard did he feel like he felt like Damon did like you could just tell no say like an account took to him right like that you just do what you can and I'm sorry Kiki that's what she was saying for bro like I understand he had a really just season to centerfield but like if you can move him and then bring your guy that you want to pair Durant they are the focal point they are on a postseason roster which I'm like don't even get me started on that set. He began missing a feeling that put kick a second and emotional but if it ever do go to right maybe because 100 was was play every day that he got he called folly. I don't know what was play every day. I don't know if we'll call fire so I was like, Okay, this guy can mash it. And we need him we need his offense and we need his office and a lot of but yeah, you can put sure my left the render center and then the dog all right and then put together a second you know, Bogey a short Democrat third, and then you know, then go back at first now depending how you want it, whatever, whatever utility guys you want to bring in.

Craig D'Alessandro:

Right up till now that figures itself out.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Yeah, exactly. So this to me that that works. So if that's the case, then you know when Rick catches up come June. Okay. Yo, do you think we're bringing G to Dallas up here to this appointment? See

Craig D'Alessandro:

that? I'm happy you brought that up? Yes. The plan with Kiki Hernandez coming in here and playing second baseman for what's for him to play there for maybe a year, maybe two years or half a year or half year this upcoming year? And your downs will be the will be the starters. That will be his physician when he came up. Busy the second baseman That's all he's ever played. He didn't have a good year triple A. He's not doing great in Arizona folly right now. So I'm not sure how well that plan is going. But he won't be ready for next season. Definitely not. So you know, I'm not against we just said they if they can move Kiki back to second, and then they can manipulate the outfield a little bit. I feel for bring it forward back. But I just don't I just don't see it in the cards right now.

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Yeah, I mean, it depends on what it would take I guess. I mean, I don't know where he would have options to sign and we obviously a player that sounds that he was he was coming off a career year before he got the groin injury or whatever. But I to me, I just think that you know, if I'm, you know, if you want someone keeping the continuity, like clearly fit in with the chemistry, you know, that's big, you know, and I it's funny, I was just watching like a little bit of a documentary of the whole 14 before we came on tonight. You know, the team of misfits if you want to call it there was super close. Johnny Damon Manny Pedro you know, showing me when he came in the queue for white They just naturally fit in those still some guys that were there from your previous harbors, so they were there in 98 against Cleveland, it was there in 99 I guess in New York, there was Dan Oh, three one so they had already been through the harbor together. So there's something to be said about lending a team that had those mishaps that had those mistakes happen to build together. And this same team was two games away from the World Series Two games with fucked up pitching like just add some pitching row you're good you're gonna hit that that's not we're not worried about that.

Craig D'Alessandro:

That's where I think their focus that's where I think their focus needs to be this offseason again some pitching

Rayshawn Buchanan:

Yeah, just when there's the bullpen stuff like you'll get a fucking closer get closer this is this this could not be honestly all over again when you're you're focusing on guys like Scott Williams and my boss and my Tombow my template that you need guys that to shut it down which is why in fact the writer guy key focus for so what you're on the clock Hi, Will you go and bring him here to get that get that job done? I like the kid out of out of Milwaukee. He's on the closer but he can be closer so as the phone Oh, in other words, something you want. I think he's I think he's haters a hater. Whenever somebody wants to know walking, wherever that guy to me could be someone they could bring. He had a great run a few years ago. Remember everyone shall see us as well. So yeah, so but let's say you just lost the goal with the rest of us. I'm happy that Jaden Yos resigned and I'm actually he's he's he's my guy. You know I don't wanna say ma'am Santiago I'm sure I want the guys will hit the bombs. And your JD to me is the best obviously feel here we have in this game or at least top three of the East are nominal. And listen, he quit last year so once he stopped once you know he just stopped last year. He quit. So it was like Oh, I'm not playing I'm not playing for this bar. I'm not playing I'm gonna keep fuck won and I'm win 60 games all when he was okay, we got my guy back. Well almost show off and that's what he did. So they'll show it again next year he'll getting close to 30 home runs and 100 runs batted in the hit 290 or 300 depending on you know, the little stuff that he has. We know that he gets hot later on in the year. He kinda he starts off cold but yeah, you're right, they have a lot of questions and I was super emotional. You know, you and I had a nice little groove back and forth on Twitter where I was like, Alright, everybody you set the gym saying, you know, I'll stop the shout out type thing. And it's like, I was emotional. I was pissed off like I just I couldn't believe how some things unfolded but and then they just still a really good team. And you know, they should still be in contention next year and not having to blow up too many things in order for that to happen. So any final words from get out here?

Craig D'Alessandro:

Now I think we fill in everything I think I think the A Team filled in quite well everyone else on the show was busy talking to you guys. Bob having a baby. Oh, good excuse, buddy. Yeah. Congratulations by so yeah, man. Congrats, brother. We
