Another week, another Kevin Durant to the Boston Celtics Rumor.
In the early hours of Monday morning, ESPN NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Celtics recently offered the Brooklyn Nets a trade package including Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart in exchange for Kevin Durant.
According to the report, the offer was made several weeks ago and was turned down by Brooklyn and a counter was made. But, the question still remains; why would the Celtics want to trade cornerstones of their current roster that was 2 wins away from an NBA Title, and would the addition of one of the best wings of all time be the move to put the Celtics over the top with him and Jayson Tatum.
